Installation of the Opening Sashes of Casement Doors and Windows
Firstly, install the hinges. Fix the hinges at the required positions on the aluminum alloy door and window frames. Then, embed the door and window sashes into the frames for temporary fixation. After proper adjustment, fix the door and window sashes onto the hinges. The allowable deviation of the overlapping width between the sash and the frame is ±0.5mm, and it must be ensured that the upper and lower rotating parts are on the same axis.
When the handle is in the horizontal position, it is in the open state; when the handle is in the downward position, the casement door and window sash is in the closed state. Based on this, the position of the lock seat on the door and window frame can be determined, and then fix the lock seat onto the door and window frame with screws.
When installing friction - type wind braces for casement doors and windows, first fix the wind brace base at the lower corner position on the hinge side of the door and window frame. Then, after opening the door and window sash to the maximum angle, fixedly connect the connecting rod fixing seat of the wind brace with the door and window sash.
When stainless - steel sliding supports are used to connect casement doors and windows and top - hung doors and windows, the door and window sashes can be automatically fixed at any open ventilation position. Moreover, when the door and window sashes are open, it is convenient to clean the glass on the outdoor side from the indoor side.
Since the opening directions and angles of casement doors and windows and top - hung doors and windows are different, appropriate sliding supports should be selected according to requirements. The sliding supports are required to be installed close to the outdoor side; otherwise, the door and window sashes will interfere with the door and window frames.
