(3) When using insulating glass, in addition to meeting the relevant provisions of the current national standard "Insulating Glass" (GB/T 11944), the following provisions should also be complied with.

 Doors and Windows

The thickness of the gas layer in the insulating glass should not be less than 9mm.

Insulating glass should adopt double - seal. The primary seal should use butyl hot - melt sealant, and the secondary seal should use polysulfide insulating glass sealant or silicone sealant.

For insulating glass used in hidden - frame and semi - hidden - frame doors and windows, the secondary seal should use silicone structural sealant. The secondary seal of insulating glass should be mixed and sealed using a gluing machine.

The spacer aluminum frame of insulating glass can be of continuous - bending type or corner - inserting type. Hot - melt spacer strips should not be used. The desiccant in the spacer aluminum frame should preferably be filled by special equipment.

(5) When single - piece low - emissivity coated glass is used for doors and windows, online thermal - spraying low - emissivity coated glass should be used. Off - line coated low - emissivity coated glass should preferably be processed into insulating glass, and the coated surface should face the gas layer of the insulating glass.
